Why I Love Spring Gardens

There has been so much happening here on our little farm! We have decided to add a few cattle and goats this year. Then, there is the process of looking for horses, because what farm is complete without horses to ride around on? We’ve been repairing the greenhouse (more on that later), building a goat shelter, because those little guys need a place to sleep and keep out of the rain (did you know that goats think they will melt in the rain?), homeschooling, and planning new ways to make a living from our little piece of heaven. In the middle of all that, there is this:

Spring gardens share a little green sunshine and remind me that my favorite time of the year is right around the corner – summer! The time for digging in the dirt, growing gardens, playing in the sun, camping trips, fishing trips and lazy days, too.

I hope you are enjoying your spring!
