There is so much happening right now on our farm. We are finishing up the pigpen and putting fence up for their yard, working on a new greenhouse (which we will finish next spring), we’ve harvested the last vegetables from the garden and are preparing them for next spring, we are planting rye for a spring crop, and finishing up various other projects before winter hits. We are also coming to the end of football season. Adding three football schedules – practices and games – into the mix has us all ready for a break. As crazy as it has been, I love the busyness of the farm. There is always something to do!
What is happening on your farm or homestead? How are you preparing for winter?
