This Week on the Farm

This is the first week it has truly felt like spring. We planted some greens and peas outside in raised beds, and more seeds to sprout in our sunroom. We’ve had the much-needed first rains of spring, and some springtime snow. I really love this time of year! There is so much promise of the things to come.

The chickens also love this time of year. They run about, foraging for every bug, worm and insect they can find.

Early in the week, the boys and I had a picnic and did a little hiking.

What is spring looking like in your neck of the woods?
