This week was dedicated to prom shopping. On Monday, my oldest decided he wanted to go to prom this weekend (I cannot believe I have a child old enough to go to prom). So, after homeschooling the younger two in the mornings, I was running into town to find what he needed (suit, shirt, tie, flowers for his date, etc.). She found a dress, he found a suit. Success! Now, we are just waiting to hear whether or not it’s going to be postponed due to the weather. Ahh….springtime in Colorado.
We did get one project finished on Monday. Last weekend, we removed the hog paneling from the pig pen to use in another project (details of that to come), and adjusted the height poles around the edge so we can use it as a corral for the horses. We have a shelter in the back pasture (where this corral is), but it is pretty far out. It will be nice to have something a little closer.
I did get some granola made and yogurt in my crockpot.
Last night a spring snow storm rolled in and today we are all just happy staying warm and cozy by the wood stove.
Hope you are warm where you are! Happy Saturday!
